President's Report
Hi! It’s great to be back in New Zealand. It’s such a wonderful place to live in. We really live in a wealthy country in comparison to parts of Central America. The Caribbean was amazing but we found it very hot even though it was their cooler season!! Maybe sometime I’ll share the Caribbean trip with you.

For our next meeting Margaret and I are preparing to share the Antarctic with you. Margaret has already put a tray of shells together. I’m working on that! I’ve got some photos - we’ll put up on a screen and you can all ask questions, which we’ll endeavour to answer!! Really looking forward to seeing you all on the 8th May. We will have a quick committee meeting before the main meeting.

Upcoming May Meeting
Come and join Heather and Margaret on a trip to the Antarctic:

  • Feel the cold
  • Experience the storms and the sun
  • See the snow and ice
  • Climb the glaciers and mountains
  • Meet the penguins and seals
  • And, of course - Inspect the shells.

A great opportunity to bring along friends and family. Although we shall be talking about shells there will be a lot of other topics discussed.

To be held on Tuesday, 8th May 2007 at Epsom Community Centre, 202 Gillies Avenue, Epsom. You are welcome to arrive from 7:00 pm with the meeting commencing at 7.30 pm - great chance to catch up with fellow club members, lucky door prize, shells to buy - come along!

Shell family for the evening is limpets. Please bring in a tray of shells that might come under the overall name of Limpets, Fissurellidae, Patellidae, Acmaeidae (or similar) New Zealand or worldwide - we’d love to see them all!

    Committee Meeting
Committee meeting to be held at 6:00 pm on 8th May (prior to regular meeting).

  • Our meeting venue (community centre/museum).
  • Speakers until the end of the year.
  • Trip? Other activities for 2007.
  • Executive positions for 2008.
